Tracks must be straight in order to guide your garage door up and down properly. However, certain things can bend or move your garage door's tracks out of place, including stress. Each track works in unison with your door's springs and cables to operate. If your door's springs or cables weaken, the tracks will need to work harder to open and close your door.
